Join me Epic Friends for a 2-hr ADULT Play with Clay Workshop! Grab a friend, a bottle(s) of wine and an inspirational quote, thought or saying, and let's make a one of a kind handmade ceramic plaque! Whether it's celebrating Mother's Day, a birthday, friendship, mentor, or a lovely thank you, kitchen or bathroom sign, your kids names....join me in making a delightful and unique handmade pottery plaque! No experience is required for this workshop, just come out and learn and to play with clay! During our workshop we will work with various texture tools, fresh botanicals, pre-made pattern molds, and learn how to cut letters or use alphabet stamping tools to write your personal message on DIY clay slab. We will also be adding a lovely layer of underglaze colors to our plaques before the nights up. PROJECT DETAILS include: (1) ~8x10/11"-ish vertical or horizontal plaque with your choice of hanging finishes touches, either colored wire or hemp rope (examples will be at workshop) and (2) I will dry & fire the work and once complete, around 2-3 weeks, an email notification will be sent to you with pick up instructions at Blakely Hall on Tuesdays. WHAT TO BRING? Besides your awesome selves, it's up to you to BYO-DRINKS. From sparkling apple juice to wine & spirits are ALL welcome. I will provide party snacks but feel free to bring your own too! Masks are a personal choice! WHO IS INVITED, 18-100+yrs CLASS COST includes: 1x participant, clay, underglaze, 1x kiln-fired piece, hanging finishes, Epic instruction.
