Hello & Welcome! Art of Construction is the ultimate 6-week class for creative exploration, hands-on idea building, and making for children at all levels. In this unique after school Tuesday class created for kids, grades K-5, we will be alternating between building up through clay (kiln fired), constructing sculpturally infused 3D projects, and working up multimedia collage artworks. Often inspired by modern art and slathered in fine art principals, Epic makers will explore their creativity and imaginations to create works of art they will be so proud to share with you! Here are a few of our exciting session #3 projects: • Clay, heart-shaped coin bank everyone will love • 3D Inspired awesome Greek bust (plaster, paper, wood) • 2D colorful Petite Collage NOTES 1. Masks optional, NO food, water bottles, optional. 2. Please dress appropriately on Wednesdays as some materials can mark clothing. 3. Ceramics is a multi-step process. There are many variables along the way that may result in breakage, color inconsistencies, etc. Unfortunately, surprises are out of my hands and also part of the many challenges and Epic adventures of working with clay. 4. Epic Art supports a multiage learning classroom. Each project is created for any age to launch their individuality and wonder. All levels of experience welcome!
