Hello & Welcome! Art & Pottery Extravaganza is the ultimate class for creative exploration! In this unique after-school Tuesday class created for kids, grades K-5, we alternate between hand building clay (kiln fired) and inspiring multi-media projects. This March-April class theme is focused on many fabulously fun SPRING HOLIDAYS. Epic Art projects expose students to varied artists and art forms while exploring an array of materials to support imaginations and ideas. In a nutshell, multi-media art is very exciting, incredibly inspiring, and freeing to create! Epic Projects March 3 – April 5 • 3/1 March’s St. Patrick’s Day Epic multimedia Rainbow Collage (kids fav big art "salad" bar set-up) wall hanging! • 3/8 March’s National Panda Day Clay Panda Bobble Head Yes, it bobbles! Mask UP always (I have backups), NO food, water bottles, if needed 2. Clay projects will go home with students on last day of class, or I will drop off at your house, or you will be contacted to stop by and pick up your pieces on a Tuesday evening 3. Ceramics is a multi-step process. There are many variables along the way that may result in breakage, color inconsistencies, etc. Unfortunately, surprises are out of my hands and also part of the many challenges and Epic adventures of working with clay 4. Epic Art believes in the wonderful & unique benefits of multiage classrooms
