Service Description

WELCOME to Teen Thursdays 90-minute studio class that provides our awesome kids between 11-15 yrs. an opportunity to create unique projects, explore art techniques + materials, and quite simply, get their hands messy, out of the house, making, building, letting GO, and connecting through art! DETAILS This class explores tactile projects across a variety of two- and three-dimensional media that includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, fiber/textiles, clay, metal, collage, trendy home decor design, and up-cycled artworks. Inspired by contemporary artists and inventors that stimulate imaginations, lessons are focused on making (process) and exploring art (and often ourselves) in an upbeat and relaxing classroom environment. Beginners to experienced artists are ALL welcome in this Epic multi-age process oriented studio class. MARCH CREATIVE OBJECTIVE To create an exciting multi-layered abstract painting on a large surface (wood board) in 4-weeks. We will explore the world of painting large with various paints, intuitive mark making, and explore a buffet of non-traditional tools, as we add new elements & layers each week. HEALTH & SAFETY For class, masks always, well checks at door + yes, to water bottle, but NO food >> breaks will be separate from work area, thank you!
