Portrait Palooza!

Service Description

Portrait Palooza! (AM) Join me for an Epic week of making multiple portrait masterpieces! We will create not 1, but 2 portraits with plenty of attitude and color! This week, mini makers will roll up their sleeves learning how to create shape by constructing UP one of my favorite sculptures, BIG FACE! Big Face is an exciting hands-on 3D study of our human HEAD constructed on a wooden pedestal made with paper, aluminum foil, glue, clay, and color. I luv it!! We will also create a beautiful multi-layered, 2-dimensional CELESTIAL PAINTING on canvas! We will explore different paints, tools, and top it with a little G-L-O-W and space sparkle to light up their MOUNTAINOUS stargazing SILHOUETTE FIGURES at NIGHT. Portrait Palooza is an action-packed class full of creative exploration and play, oodles of textures, and LAYERS of artsy goodness. This young camp is perfect FUN for your MINI ME to explore their newly independent selves as they experience a 3-hour drop-off class, and make new friends in a happy & dynamic environment. EPIC CELEBRATIONS • Friday @11:45am • Join us as we celebrate our artists with a walkabout EXHIBITION & TREATS! PLEASE BRING WITH YOU TO CAMP • Snacks & labeled water bottle • Clothes & shoes for getting messy & possible stained • Pre-applied sunscreen and/or cap as you see fit for outside PLAY time • Masks are optional currently NOTES 1. Glue guns are a necessary tool for building projects. I will be facilitating, and any interns, all hot gluing for our young makers. 2.
