Service Description

I've created a ridiculously fun afternoon class for this age group that combines the magic of all my favorite young artist projects and a perfect week for kids to explore a big variety of very cool art mediums! During the week, we will play-with-clay and create a functional ceramic breakfast bowl to take our mornings to the next level! We will also dive into a beautiful mixed media wall hanging exploring mark making and layers of collage with a beautiful circle weave at its core. We will also spend time outside, observing & drawing, inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe to create our own botanical drawing topped off with watercolors and a handsome frame. This is a perfect week for young artists and I cannot wait to see what they make and create! A NOTE ON POTTERY: Due to kiln schedules, clay summer projects will be hand-delivered to your porch a week-ish later. MULTIAGE ART EDUCATION Epic Art supports multi-age art classrooms and has found that both younger and older students thrive in this type of creative, positive, and collaborative atmosphere, which can lead to endless opportunities for learning for all students. At Epic, we teach as a whole group, and then break up into small groups for guided instruction and individual support. Our pace is dictated by our Epic students and our mission is to ignite imaginations & support each students’ voice and vision.
