Service Description

Small Wonders & Magical Houses What an Epic week of artful play and making I have planned for our mini makers! I cannot wait to share this dreamy 4-day week of creating and constructing the coolest magical house on the planet! We will DESIGN, BUILD, and DECORATE a ~15" functional FAIRY or WIZARD house with an abundant amount of natural & faux materials, mini creatures, that includes, tree bark, moss, rocks, ribbon, twigs, branches, metal charms, words, textiles, and so more to choose and build with each day. Each artist will be supplied with my pre-hand-built cardboard constructed house that sets on a natural wood base. We will play with various color, chat about our design plan, explore mark-making tools, and add details with sensory fun CelluClay. All the while, we secretly adding small world treasures (top secret), to top off our creations with mini twinkle lights (battery included). This project brings play and excitement home long after class is over AND I cannot wait to see what the kids will make! This young camp is perfect FUN for your MINI ME to explore their newly independent selves as they experience a 3-hour drop-off class and make new friends in a happy & dynamic environment. EPIC CELEBRATIONS • Thursday @11:45am • Join us as we celebrate our artists with a walkabout EXHIBITION & TREATS! PLEASE BRING WITH YOU TO CAMP • Snacks & labeled water bottle • Clothes & shoes for getting messy & possible stained • Pre-applied sunscreen and/or cap as you see fit for outside PLAY time • Masks are optional currently NOTES 1. Glue guns are a necessary tool for building projects. I will be facilitating, and any interns, all hot gluing for our young makers. 2. Epic Art believes in the wonderful & unique benefits of multiage classrooms.
