HELLO & WELCOME! I cannot think of a more perfect combination than ART + POTTERY infused with children’s STORYBOOKS! If you have a maker at home who loves to work with clay and explore art, or a child you’d love to expose to more creative experiences, come join us! In this unique after-school class created for kids, grades K-5, we will be alternating between hand building clay (kiln fired) and an array of mixed media projects. At the top of each class, I will read one of my favorite children's books (I have SO many to share) to introduce & inspire our project theme & conversation of the day. Whether it’s character inspiration, an idea, a feeling, seasonal or culturally influenced, or we focus on a creative style, one thing is for sure, Tuesdays after-school will be Epic this fall! Epic book picks + projects for Oct-Nov: • 10/19 What Do You Do With an Idea?
