WELCOME to Epic Art Wednesdays at Blakely Hall in Issaquah Highlands, a special & unique after school class for families with budding artists & creative enthusiasts ages, 4-8! Wednesday's class is a creative space for young children in our community to play, explore, collaborate, tell their own stories, and make creations at their own pace: ultimately making artworks they will be so proud to share with you. We will deep dive into hand building clay (kiln-fired & other), building UP using various materials, thinking & solving in 3D, collage, paint, dabble in textiles, get messy, make some wicked new friends, and more! THEME My fall session we will embark on a creative journey "Around the World" exploring art from different countries and cultures. Through engaging activities, they’ll develop their artistic skills, broaden their horizons, and gain a deeper appreciation for the diverse world of art. SESSION DETAILS • Wednesdays are 2:00-4:00pm. PARENT DROP OFF is 2:00pm. PICK UP from class is 3:45-4:00pm. NO later. **If you would like me to PICK UP your child(ren) at Grand Ridge after school, great, please email me, info@epic-art.com for your request & details. • A healthy nut-free SNACK & drink will be provided. Pls. provide any medical & food sensitivities during registration process! • Each session includes 2-3 take home projects and we work progressively week to week for we have the advantage of spending more time on each artwork. No projects are repeated throughout the school year; however, mediums, tools, and techniques to skill-build will be! • A gathering/sitting area in the studio will be set up (especially as the weather starts to turn and going outside in the park is not the most fun option) where we can snack, chat, do collaborative projects or chill out for a few. • Siblings? All three of our boys attended Grand Ridge where I volunteered for almost 10-years as an Art Docent and I continue to support art within our schools. During Covid I started Epic Art to provide an outlet & wonder space for children of all ages in & around Issaquah. I hope you can join me this session!
