Epic Reindeer Roundup

Reindeer Roundup is Epic Art's yearly holiday workshop and one of my all-time favorite projects for Kids, 5-9 years! Now I know science hasn’t proven that reindeer can fly and thus I can neither confirm nor deny that magical power; however, reindeers do have some very impressive antlers and dreamy personalities! In Reindeer Roundup Kids will create a magical mixed media holiday-inspired reindeer wall hanging. We will construct and sculpt our reindeer head and attach it to a festive self-designed headboard. The process is great fun for the kids as they design and construct face features with paper and pulp, decorate with the very best of everything that includes: collaging, recycling, drawing, painting + making creative choices with yarn, fabric, ribbons, natural wood & found objects, oil pastels, chalk, glitter, more sparkly embellishments...OH yes, it's a day to explore, play, and make a very special reindeer wall hanging! WORKSHOP DETAILS When: Wednesday, Dec. 20 Time: 9am-12:00pm (3.0hrs) Ages: 5 -9 Bring: Masks optional, bring WATER bottle to reduce waste at the Club. Snacks: Yummy hot chocolate w/ marshmallows option + snacks will be provided! You are also welcome to bring your own too.
